Welcome to the Ysgol Bro Elwern’s website. Ysgol Bro Elwern is a rural Welsh school located in the center of the village of Gwyddelwern. Welsh is the main language and medium of the school. Our main aim is to ensure that children receive their education in a happy and homely environment where they enjoy learning. The school is a close community and there is a close and enthusiastic relationship between staff, parents and governors to ensure that every child has the best possible opportunity in our care. Here are some of our other goals ... • To develop a purposeful and active atmosphere between staff and pupils. • To promote individual development of the basic skills so that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. • To seek a balance between formal and creative work and to provide opportunities for the children to be stimulated to pursue investigative and independent thinking. We lay firm foundations in all aspects of the Curriculum and develop the skills necessary to apply this knowledge in today's world so that children understand how our living standards are maintained. To be aware of, sensitive to the emotional needs, spiritual and physical capacity of the individual child. We pride ourselves on knowing each child thoroughly and consequently being able to provide a complete physical, emotional and mental education so that they can develop into a full character and so that each child develops to his / her own full potential.
